Leadership Training Hours

At GSI, we believe that investing in our leaders is investing in our future. That's why we provide them with the best training opportunities to enhance their skills, knowledge and networks. In 2020, we invested a total of 618 hours of training for our leaders, covering topics such as business acumen, industry trends, strategic thinking and leadership development. Our training programs are designed to help our leaders grow professionally and personally, and to foster a culture of excellence and innovation at GSI. We are proud of our leaders and their achievements, and we are committed to supporting them in their continuous learning journey.

Industry and Academic Partners

We have partnered with 8 industry and academic training providers, both offshore and onshore, to offer our leaders the best learning opportunities. Whether it's HR, business, finance or wellness, our leaders can access high-quality training programs that are relevant, practical and aligned with our onshore counterparts. Our offshore partners include the People Management Association of the Philippines for HR related training, ANZ Chamber of Commerce for Business Acumen, the Ateneo School of Continuing Education for Financial Acumen and MindYou for Wellness.

Hours Spent on Cultural Awareness and Integration

At GSI, we believe that cultural awareness is a key skill for our leaders to succeed in the global market. That's why we invest on our leaders by providing them with opportunities to travel and learn from different cultures and perspectives. In the past year, we have invested on 320 hours of travel and training for our leaders, covering topics such as cross-cultural communication, diversity and inclusion, intercultural conflict management, and cultural intelligence. These experiences have enabled our leaders to relate and work well with their onshore counterparts, as well as to foster a culture of respect and collaboration within our teams. We are proud of our leaders and their commitment to cultural awareness, and we look forward to continuing our investment on their growth and development.

At GSI, we believe that investing in our staff members' capability is the key to our success. That's why we dedicate 38 hours a year per staff to enhance their skills, knowledge and competencies in their own respective areas. We also provide opportunities for exposure through networking and leadership development, so that our staff can grow their professional network, learn from industry experts and leaders, and take on more challenging and rewarding roles. Hours Spent on Cultural Awareness and Integration

We value cultural awareness as a key factor for enhancing teamwork and service quality. That's why we have invested in various initiatives to foster cultural integration among our staff members, especially those who work offshore. In the past year, we have spent close to 500 hours on culture awareness training and trips for our offshore staff, covering topics such as cultural diversity, communication styles, cross-cultural collaboration, and intercultural competence. We believe that by increasing our staff's cultural awareness, we can improve their performance, satisfaction, and engagement, as well as deliver better results to our clients and stakeholders.
